Children at Swaffham Preschool Playgroup completed laps of Hamond’s High School tennis courts for Toddle Waddle for Meningitis Trust in 2005
In our weekly Memory Lane Schooldays feature we look back to 2005…
This was the scene at a musical Toddle Waddle organised by Swaffham Preschool Playgroup which raised nearly £200 for the Meningitis Trust in October 2005.
A total of 44 children took part in the sponsored event during which they walked, ran, hopped, skipped and sang their way around the tennis courts at Hamond’s High School.
Supervisor Pam Frost said the two to four-year-olds walked between nine and 15 laps of the court, with most of the children completing the full 15 circuits.
“We sang songs such as The Wheels on the Bus and took a CD player with us during the toddle,” she added.
