The Coach and Horses makes its highly anticipated return to Dersingham with successful launch
A much-loved village venue is back up and running after undergoing a major refurbishment.
Following months of hard work and plenty of changes, The Coach and Horses in Dersingham has been brought into the modern age with a revamped on-site restaurant and bar and new luxurious hotel rooms.
After being purchased by new owners, brothers Nick and Tom Suiter, the venue shut its doors to undergo a major renovation back in October 2022.
With its doors now open once again, the relaunch retains a local favourite pub for the village and introduces a “beautiful” new restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday roasts.
The team hopes the changes will encourage more people to travel to Dersingham.
Since reopening on October 22, The Coach and Horses has also introduced a new website, allowing visitors to book with ease to eat, drink and stay at the establishment.
Originally established in 1845, The Coach and Horses is no stranger to serving its community and travellers from further afield, and this relaunch promises the same commitment to quality that was seen all those years ago.
At the heart of this is the purchase of local ingredients and produce for its restaurant’s menus.
Meanwhile, the eight individually decorated, characterful rooms available to book have all been updated with sympathy to the original building’s history and charm.
Nick and Tom purchase fresh meat from the Sandringham Estate, while they also showcase artwork provided by local artist Marty Griffin - and dog treats for furry friends are produced by Pooch’s, located just five miles away.
